Vispring Coronet

Frequently asked questions

Who would benefit most from the Vispring Coronet, and who might it not suit?

The Coronet is crafted for sleepers who value traditional hand-crafted construction, individual support from pocket springs, and a premium, breathable feel. It may be less suited for those seeking a lighter, less specialised mattress or a firmer, minimalist design.

What does the Coronet feel like and how does it look in a bedroom?

It has a refined, responsive feel thanks to the three-layer wool and cotton filling and a single row of hand-nested pocket springs. The wool and viscose ticking offers a smooth, breathable surface with edge-to-edge stability from reinforced borders.

What climate or sleep conditions does it suit best?

Breathable wool content helps with temperature regulation and moisture-wicking across the sleep surface, supporting comfort in varied room climates.

How should I set up or use this mattress to get the best support?

Place on a compatible bed frame to support the edge-stability features, and allow the hand-tufted construction and border stitching to maintain even support over time.

What care or maintenance does this mattress require?

Maintain the integrity of the fill alignment and perimeter by keeping the surface clean and ensuring the border remains intact; the hand-tufted design helps keep fillings from migrating and supports lasting comfort.

Vispring · No. COVSMCOR

The Coronet marks the moment where Vispring’s hand-craft enters the collection, capturing all defining elements of the marque with a deliberately clean filling profile around British fleece wool and cotton. The sleep surface uses a wool and viscose ticking that remains fine enough to convey the responsiveness of the layers beneath while the wool content wicks moisture away from the body.

Beneath, fillings unfold in three distinct stages: a surface layer of bonded British fleece wool and cotton for immediate resilience and breathability; a middle layer of British fleece wool for loft and passive temperature regulation; and a blended wool and cotton stratum closer to the spring unit to distribute load evenly before reaching the coils. The single row of hand-nested calico pocket springs, made from Vanadium steel, responds independently to weight and movement, while a border upholstered with protective wool and reinforced by two rows of hand side-stitching locks the perimeter springs into position. Hand-tufting with felt washers keeps fillings aligned through depth to prevent migration and maintain consistent support at every point along the mattress.
